A daytrip to Ikoma (Nara prefecture). Riding the iconic Cat and Dog funicular. Only went to the first station – Hozanji. After that basically every step was stairs. A bit challenging but absolutely worth it…like entering a miraculous world plus a breathtaking view. Very cold (December 4th), but still sunny.
