It took me some decisivness to switch from Elektron Digitakt to Sonicware‘s SmplTrek. I got me the Digitakt 2 1/2 years ago as a travel friendly version of my Octatrak. Had a great time with it. Anyway the SmplTrek is smaller, weighs much less, runs on (rechargeable) batteries, yet is super capable. The small Leonardo statue is from our May trip to Milan and Florence.
