A day trip to Yoshino mountains (Nara Prefecture). 2h trainride plus 10 mins on Japan’s oldest cable car (a bit scary indeed) brought us to a beautiful mountain village with pottery shops, temples and trees full of red and yellow leaves. Almost magical experience.
